IR 64 Indian Non-Basmati Rice

IR 64 is a long grain Non-Basmati Rice, grown in the Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka & Andhra Pradesh region of India. It is very economical low-cost rice & comes with an average grain length of 6 MM – 6.1 MM. IR64 rice has a pleasant aroma and largely exported to West Africa, South Africa, East Africa and Bangladesh. The elongation ratio of the grain is 1.5 times if cooked well. It is available in Raw/ white & Sella/ Parboiled rice forms.
