Swarna Indian Non-Basmati Rice
Swarna is a medium grain Non-Basmati Rice, grown in the Orissa, West Bengal, Assam, Bihar, Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh region of India. It is very economical low-cost rice & comes with an average grain length of 5 MM – 5.2 MM. Swarna rice has natural aroma as well as very low-calorie. It is largely exported to West Africa, South Africa, East Africa and Bangladesh. The elongation ratio of the grain is 1.5 times if cooked well. It is available in Raw/ white, Steam & Sella/ Parboiled rice forms.
